Rome and Puglia: heading south for sand, caves and sea

Upcoming Tours > Upcoming Tours 2022

We start in the “heel of the boot” near the capital of Bari. The region of Puglia (POOL ya) is gaining in popularity as both culturally rich and much less touristy. Find 3,000-year-old olive trees, the vast Castellana Caves, curious trullo houses, and the Baroque city of Lecce – known as the Florence of the south.

Next we move to the Eternal City where art and history take us back to Roman times, the catacombs and the Sistine Chapel.

This small-group tour includes:

Accommodations, private ground transportation, most meals (with wine, naturally), wine tastings, private guided tours, cooking lessons, tours and tastings, olive oil producers and wineries, and exclusive local experiences. And your own private, 24/7, Italian-speaking guide who takes care of everything!
