This slightly longer 13-day tour combines the history of Rome with some of north Italy’s gems: Lake Como, Venice and the Dolomite Mountains, host to the 2026 winter Olympics. We will experience much of Italy’s rich history, stay in a beautiful villa-turned-hotel on Lake Como and visit wineries, islands and quaint mountain villages in the area around Venice. It’s hard to beat an evening walkabout in Venice when the visitors leave and the families come out.
