June, September – Lake Como and the Alps (June FULL; 4 in Sept)
We will soak up the splendor of North Italy’s gems: the Italian Alps and Lake Como. We’ll enjoy the traditional foods of these regions, see spectacular views from Mont Blanc (France) and make our way over to Lake Como to see villas, vineyards and a bit of Switzerland.
August – It’s Back! Siena, Tuscany, and the medieval horse race, il Palio (4 of 8 left)
Experience Siena like a local and immerse yourself in this twice-a-year spectacle that dates back centuries. Parades, drummers and practice races. After watching the big event from our private balcony, we’ll retreat to our country villa for vineyard visits and pool time.
